Hi! I'm Robin. I am a Carlsbad–based photographer specializing in both posed and un-posed portraits with a photojournalistic style as well as professional headshots, events, products, and sports photography. It is my passion to capture authentic moments that will be cherished for years to come.

As the Official Photographer at The Flower Fields in Carlsbad, CA, I can be found amongst the flowers capturing beautiful portraits and surprise proposals March through May 10.

What an exciting photography career I have had for more than twenty years! I feel honored to capture so many memorable images throughout the years in so many different places! It is my passion to capture authentic moments that will be cherished for years to come.

I live in Carlsbad, California with my two amazing children, husband, and our rescue dog. I understand the chaos and balancing act that comes into our lives while also embracing the fun! We can freeze time together, and you can revisit your photos whenever you want to spark a memory.

At the age of eight, I was gifted a kodak instamatic with those disposable flash cubes and I delighted in recording the world around me. Born on a military base in southern California, I spent my childhood relocating from one base to the next throughout the United States and overseas. My Dad would sometimes turn our only bathroom into a Darkroom to print photos of us to send to the Grandparents. Growing up this way influenced my desire to become a documentary photographer. One of the most impactful experiences was living in Germany during the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and visiting shortly thereafter to witness and photograph people hammering away at the last remnant of The Cold War. A photojournalism career developed at Penn State University while shooting football from the sidelines and other captivating events all over campus.

My work has appeared in hundreds of major news publications worldwide. I have captured everything from Hollywood's most talented to events that have gripped the world's attention. It has been so rewarding traveling throughout the U.S. and other countries for my clients and am grateful to them for entrusting me to document their biggest events and moments over the years. It has been an incredibly fulfilling journey with many priceless memories.
